Full course description
This class teaches practical skills to build resilience and increase one's ability to control their emotions and behavior. Participants in the Resilient Mind class will learn to live more in the present moment, raising awareness of their thoughts and emotions which cause maladaptive behaviors. They will learn techniques that enhance awareness and helps adjust expectations of themselves, others, and the world that limit their potential. These skills belong to an evidence-based intervention called Mind-Body Bridging that minimizes psychological distress and improves psychological resilience and general well-being.
